After-School Program Open to All
The Church of the Blue Ridge after-school program is now open to every K-6th grade student, in the community. The hours are 3-6pm, Monday-Friday, during the school year.
This program under the direction of Darlene Shanks offers a variety of activities; a mix of academics, recreation and enrichment, in a structured yet flexible environment. The activities include physical activity, arts and crafts, cooking, games, relaxation and creative expression.
"Our purpose is to offer parents a place where their children can be supervised in a quality after-school recreational and enrichment program," Darlene says.
The registration fee for ACS students is covered in the tuition. A fee is charged for non-ACS students. Call the church office at: (540) 456-6853 to obtain an application for next year.
